Application Scientist for Rigaku Europe

Rigaku Europe is seeking a crystallographer to join our UK-based staff.

The successful candidate will join the world’s leading provider of
analytical X-ray equipment to facilitate communication with our
expanding small molecule crystallography user group, assist in
development and implementation of software improvements, and lead
software and hardware demonstration/training sessions in support of both
pre-sales and post-sales activities.

Essential Qualifications:

PhD or equivalent experience in small molecule crystallography.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

A preference will be given to scientists with hands-on experience in the
use and maintenance of X-ray systems, familiarity with high-throughput
automated systems, and a high level of aptitude for new technologies in
X-ray instrumentation and diffraction methods.

This position will be based out of our Sevenoaks office in Kent where we
have a selection of Rigaku equipment for testing and demonstration
purposes. Opportunities will be presented for extensive travel to the
USA and throughout Europe.
