For antibodies there are several numbering schemes in use, or at least
proposed (Kabat, Chothia, AHo, IMGT, ..). So it would be nice to have a
file format that allows several residue numbering schemes at the same
time, with a clever program doing the translations.

I don't know if this is possible in mmCIF. It could be a a nice addition
if it isn't.

Also, Kabat numbering has it's limitations (e.g. how to handle deletions,
or more than 27 inserted residues).

kind regards,

Klaas.
