Position Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative
crystallography associate scientist for our structural biology group in
Cambridge, MA. Provide protein crystallization support for a
gene-to-structure team working towards structure-based drug design.
Requires a highly organized individual whose skills include: protein
expression in E. coli and baculovirus, protein purification, and protein
crystallization using robotics. The successful individual will be an
effective communicator and problem-solver and have a demonstrated skill in
crystallization and use database tools to track crystallization trials. An
interest in data collection or structure refinement would be a significant
asset.

Qualifications: B.S.in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or related
discipline and 2-3 years relevant experience in a crystallography lab.
Familiarity with all techniques and hardware/software relevant to
purifying protein constructs for crystallization and obtaining crystals.
Must be a team player with strong communication skills.
